I tried the trial game and then payed the 800 ms points for it. so far iv'e put around 3 hours in it and have enjoyed every second.  Reminds me a little bit of AOE.  Anyone else played this game, if so what are your thoughts on it.

I bought it yesterday after playing the trial. I think it is very entertaining.

It's great. Nice and relaxing, and compulsively playable. I sat down earlier to play just a few minutes of it, and an hour had flown by before I knew it. Ninja Bee are always awesome, and they deserve extra kudos for incorporating avatars in time for the launch of NXE.

Yeah I like Ninja Bee. Right now my wife has 2200 MSpoints.
She's gonna let me get Galaga Legions (Finally!!) unless she mandates I choose Castle Crashers and she gets something else instead (still cool).

Are there XBL Competitive components to the game?

There is multiplayer, but it's entirely cooperative. However, you can build a wooden maze and play soccer with some poor Kefling, as Ninja Bee suggests.

The demo was pretty cool but too short to really get a feel of it. It was a relaxing type of play, with no timers to run out and no other villages/tribes building up to rape and pillage your little town. I may buy it next week, if the whole game is like that.

I'm still not sure if I want to pay 800 MS points for it though. I mean, Banjo-Kazooie is coming out soon, and I want to know if it's going to cost 1200 or 1000 MS points (getting short on points). :(

It's fun mindless game where you just build stuff. I enjoy the little time I play with it. My son likes it a lot and play for hous on it.
