I certainly do. I just do not find them as entertaining.

It's just not possible. I'm not sure what I have to argue past that. There is only a month and some change to prove me wrong, and I doubt anything that drastic will happen in that short amount of time.

Give me a real, well thought out argument on why Valkyria Chronicles should be considered, because I honestly just can't see it. I'm sorry, but I can't.

Because it has the highest metacritic score from any JRPG this gen. It's Japanese with a linear storyline and an RPG, the things that define JRPG. And it's awesome. Do I need more?

Probably has to do with the fact that you haven't played it. 

Since it's in my opinion the best SRPG ever made I don't see why it wouldn't have a very good shot at RPG of the year.  It has a unique combination of real time tactics and turn-based strategy that's not found in any other game on the market.  The story is also quite good, the music beautiful, and the art, needless to say, breathtaking.  I'd like to know what RPG you think is more deserving?
