Halo 3 will be the first game (as far as I know) to feature 4 player co-operative play through the ENTIRE single-player campaign.

IMO, this is going to totally redefine the shooter genre, and now I will buy Halo3 if I can get online.

I wondered when we'd start getting big news about Halo3. Microsoft has been really secretive about the game so far. I expect this won't be the last bomb they drop on us.

I would assume it's just the start. 16 player online multiplayer (non campaign) has also been announced.

Also, as far as my understanding is, the game is actually finished gameplay and content-wise. From now till it goes gold, they are just optimizing the graphics to make it look better and smoother. To me, thats a good thing, as they feel confident the gameplay is where they want it to be.

Haze won't have the honor of being the first ever 4 player co-op console shooter...

me i'm really hoping a good story but even more an innovative multi.... because they just had to remake the old one a litle bit better they had the all time to think about other ways of playing multi.... mini games during lodding time (ie rocket jump contest, hog grenade jump, a built in zombie infection game with the floods, a space only map with banshee fighting, tank fight, vehicle mini race etc...)it would be a fun add on and not really affect the multi already in place..... but i don't think they will
