Forums - Nintendo - Nintendo's awesome customer service (or I just got a brand new DS)

See the problem with Nintendo product is that it creates an un achievable expectation of quality with everything else. Its possible but Nintendo generally dont make stuff that breaks.
Maybe thats why the warrantee is so flexible.

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

My microphone doesn't work anymore, you think they can replace it.

^_^

do you think i can get a brand new ds if i send in my ps3?

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

I think it is cheaper to sell the PS3 and buy a new DS with a few games and you can pocket the extra $$$

If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy
In the past we played games. In the future we watch games. - Forest-Spirit

Nintendo mailed me a free 72-pin connector for my NES after it died after 20 years. They said they weren't sure if they even had the part anymore, but they looked it up and still had some left. They said I could mail in my NES and they'd repair it, or they could mail me the part and recommend the nearest repair center. I said I could do it myself, and they said that was fine but it would void my warranty on the new part. I put it in and had a brand new NES for free. In fact, Nintendo even thanked me for being a loyal customer for this long and said they really appreciate it.

ME AND NINTENDO ARE LIKE THIS! ::holds fingers really close together::
