Not to be pessimistic, but if Chibi Robi and Pikmin are the best Nintendo can do, they should stick to what works.

Pikmin and Pikmin 2 are both Million selling games on a platform that didn't sell fantastically well ...

It seems to have worked pretty well for Nintendo.

 @Montana.

So... you want more Mario/Zelda/Metroid? I guess you are not one of the people saying that Nintendo has done enough of that...

As long as the game is good, I don't care which character promotes it.

And Chibi Robo is one of my ex-girlfriends favorite games. (I know that doesn't sound like much of an arguement, but she is pretty hardcore otherwise.)

I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.

 haha surely you are an imbecile to think that pikmin isnt a brilliant game

Wow, so many attacks. Cool your jets, people. Chibi Robo was average at best, and Pikmin was great, but not groundbreaking.

Just because a game has high sales does not mean it's good. Just look at Wii Play.

You can't knock Chibi Robo. That's just not a good thing to do. In the dark final days of the gamecube along came this little plug-in pal. Fortunately, while the game was msrp'd at 39.99, Gamestop couldn't sell them so they were dumping them at $10. I wish the Wii would stop selling so I wouldn't have to pay full price for my games. Oh how I long for the days when Nintendo has to play catch up.

In your opinion, of course. I believe you meant to say: "High sales don't matter if I do not like the game."

I actually think Wii Play is a great game.  Of course that's just because the only qualifier I have for how good a game is how much fun I have with it.  Probably a biproduct from being a very oldschool videogame player.

Wii Play to me is like a spiritual successor to Duck Hunt in that you arn't going to play it for a few weeks straight... but it's a great palet cleanser when you get stuck and just want to play something fun for a while.

Plus everbodies up for Wii bowling.  Reminds me back when Super Monkey Ball came out and I bought it... every freaking night that summer ended up with people wanting to come over to play the gliding game after everything we did.  Actually started getting annoying.
