It doesn't look like they make the reason publicly known, or the duration. His profile shows he is banned, and that he last posted this morning, but nothing more detailed.

His average post count is 2.62 posts a day.  So he obviously loves us better.

This thread is funny, but only because of the insane amount of trolling going on here. 

Somehow this turned into another "Secret PS3 game" thread, again. 

sigh.

 

And this is the reason:

1) Thread whining was banned for a reason. When you moan about how a thread has turned to shit, is shit, or is inhabited by shits you're shitting up the thread yourself. It's still enforced. Let the mods decide whether a thread should stay open or be closed, and if you don't think it's worthy don't post in it.

The reasons for bannings were outlined by an admin in the last post of the thread in question (many people got banned, it wasn't pretty). Usually first bannings are 1 week bans if you're a full Member (permaban if you're a "Junior" Member).
