Even before I saw that part, I found the "toothy grin" line very offensive, and I was most offended by the line about Obama doing the Charleston.  I think jokes about a black man dancing a jig to make white folks happy are more offensive than anything you could ever say about a white person.  They're up there with jokes about shoe-shining and other white-man-serving jokes.

Whoa, I just read the whole plot synopsis for Soul Plane (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soul_Plane) and all I can say is I'm glad it couldn't even make back the $16 million it cost to make that turd, but I'm ashamed it made twice as much money as The Adventures of Pluto Nash.

Oh man, the white family are the Hunkees!  ::facepalm::

 

 

You hear the announcer in the background... "Let's see a college boy do that."

I'm just glad that the article didn't say Obama made any other promises(the horrible parts start around 4:30).

 



I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.

Damn.  Poor kid claimed he didn't know about racism until he joined the army when he was 18.  And he was doing this when he was 6 or 7?  Sheesh...

All I can say is, "Wow.  I didn't know he started dancing that young."

I didn't know you were white. Most Jews are of middle eastern decent.

Even though Jews are from West Asia they are considered "white." People from West Asia, North Africa, and Europe are considered "white." This includes the Berbers, Arabs, Persians, and Turks. Of course, this is according to the Census Bureau.

Yeah, any category of Middle Eastern decent isn't usually even an option when filling out forms in the United States. They are just lumped into white for whatever reason.

Man the U.S. Census is so dumb. We studied it for weeks in my linguistics class. They don't even ask if you can speak 3 or more languages. They just ask if your primary language is English, and if it isn't, you get to fill in the blank. And it doesn't distinguish between Cantonese and Mandarin. And it has tons of other awkward mistakes that give us crappy data. I think they finally added biracial/multiracial as a category though, so our data for that JUST started.

 Cool. I am white. I can tell all those poeple who mistake me for Mexican because of my color that I am just a darker white.

(I am a jew by the way, and not one that looks white.)
