Connery was the best.
Brosnan was the worst.
I enjoyed Moore's bond. Less violent but great stunts.

Die Another Day was the worst Bond film ever made. Worst plot, worst editing, worst gadgets, worst characters, worst acting, worst everything. That movie made me stupider. The camerawork and editing really didn't help it at all. Worst song too. Worst intro montage. Worst one-liners. Worst Bond girl. And James Bond gets captured and tortured for months and grows a beard? Fuck that shit.

You forgot to put Barry Nelson and David Niven on your list, but I doubt they'd get any votes anyway since nobody's ever heard of 'em.

I can't pick a favorite between Sean Connery, Timothy Dalton, and Pierce Brosnan right now... so I'll vote for Dalton since he doesn't have any votes yet, and because he was amazing in Flash Gordon and Hot Fuzz.

Yeah, Die Another Day was about as bad as a movie can get.

@Montana: I also enjoyed The World is Not Enough.  Definitely the best of the Brosnan Bond movies alongside Goldeneye.

Well, I have to be honest. Much of my love for the movie was because of Denise Richard's amazing breasts. Some good action scenes, though. Just bad dialogue from time to time. Also, worst...ending...ever.

Roger Moore hands down.

It's too bad Dalton didn't get enough time to shine, Though only one of his movies was great, I just really liked him as bond. To me he was the most realistic super spy. He seemed the most like an actual human being, who could do amazing things, but really had to work for it. Felt all the more satisfying when he'd deliver his humorous lines.

Roger Moore was by far the biggest blight on the series. Why did they keep putting him in Bond films? He was just this creepy old guy in laughable plots delivering smarmy lines. At most, they're enjoyable as comedies.

I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.

Chrizum is the best thing to happen to the internet, Period.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.

I voted Craig, but I haven't watched many 007 movies, the two Craig ones and one or two Brosnan. But since I absolutely loved Casino Royale, I'm going with Craig

I'd go with Craig if it were between him and Brosnan. Watch some Bond movies damn it.

I voted for Connery because he was by far the best by a million times. You didn't know if he was going to sleep with a woman or put a knife in her back and pulled it off to perfection.

I kind of wanted to vote fo Lazenby because he doesn't have a vote and On Her Majesty's Secret Service was one of the top Bond movies ever made. He actually was very good and most people here probably have never seen that movie.

Barry Nelson and David Niven weren't official Bonds but they did play Bond and Nelson was the worst Bond ever. I mean first Bond ever.

Damn straight.  Timothy Dalton was the perfect Bond and the producers were trying to snag him for decades.  They asked him to be Bond for On Her Majesty's Secret Service in 1967, and he said no, because he was too young and didn't want to go right after Connery.  When he finally took the role for The Living Daylights in 1987, it was their 5th offer (it was somehow between him and Brosnan and Sam Neill at the time).

Can you imagine being so badass you turn down the role of James Bond 4 fucking times?

@Montana, how dare you sir.  You Only Live Twice is by far my favorite Bond film!

Rubang: Is that because it's based in Japan? I admit, it's an awesome Bond film, but that was because of Connery. If it had Moore in it, it probably would have turned out to be a disaster. Don't underestimate my love for that film. A great movie with an awesome intro song.
