As soon as I read the OP I knew what the responses would be. The internet is so predictable. If you complain that you die to much in a game, it can't be because the game is poorly designed. You just suck. Nothing is ever a hyped games fault, if it's hyped, it's your fault for not liking it.
The fact of the matter is the campaign is centered around trial and error gameplay. Nathan dies incredibly fast, and there are tons of "gotcha" moments when a group of enemies busts through a wall, or invisible guys swarm you and insta kill, or guys charge in behind you, ect ect. There is virtually no punishment for dying other than starting 10 seconds back, and it will change your weapons when you die to something more appropriate. They designed it like that purposely, and it's really not a good design.
