Hi, I've been using this site for a while for other purposes, but I feel the need to post now. Greetings to all on VGchartz.

So I've been looking up certain games from the company NIS, to see just how "big" (see little) of a company they are. They are the people who are best known for Disgaea, La pucelle tactics, and Phantom Brave. I see that some of the games have zero sales on them.

I ofcourse, do not know how this site work. I do not know persiscly how they get thier data. Besides what Wiki telling me from NPD some how. How does this site get those numbers?

So, I know that many of those games must have more sales then 0. Some of them have only one region listed for sales. I've also seen a "double post" if you will, for one of the games, that wasn't a remake or a port. I believe it was ether Disgaea 2, or disgaea 3. I was most interested in Disgaea 3, since it came out in August for it's US release, but there doesn't seem to be any information about it. I'm pretty sure it must have sold decently by now.

I'm guessing no one knows?

Look at the bottom of the page and click on Methodology, i've never read it but that should give you a basic understanding of how the site gathers data. And very high or low selling games will be harder to track due to the sample size this site uses. Also many older games lack any data due to their being no solid sources on their sales.

I noticed that 2 Disgaea3 pages. For a while I had both in my Game Collection XD. THen I chose to just keep the one with American Figures since that's where I bought it.
