Hang on... I'm sure I have played games with Ferraris in that have damage haven't I???? or am I mistaken?

i know, it's weird how ferrari won't let the developer of the biggest racing franchise apply damage modelling to their cars.  it could be the amount of damage polyphony want to do.

Do all the Automobile companies have these same issues? i.e , they all dont give permission for showing damage?

Only the elitest ones.

That's exactly why in games like Need For Speed, we see some of the fastest production cars on the planet (Lamborghini) being totalled. That's why we see Ferrari's getting damaged in Forza 2.

No, the reason why those papers aren't getting signed is not because certain companies are elitests, stingy or don't want their cars to get damaged (in game), it's because polyphony won't pony up the dough to pay for those rights. So you can blame Polyphony for refusing to do something other games (and their developers) have done before.

lol wtf big chalenge doesnt mean imposible... so who cares they might get it and if not who cares, the games owns with or without it, still better with but =) you cant always get what u want

I could care less about the damage system. If they add it or not. GT5 will be just like any other entry in the series, addicting and worth the admission.

nfs comapred to GT, you are one sick puppy kid.

Fake damage like the crap in Forza they are ok with, but realistic damage they see it as if it will hurt their prestige.  Ferrari sure as hell wont let that happen.
