I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.

Difficult to understand, but thanks for contributing.

You lack metric (aka. you forget your unit of measurement)

I am a PC gamer, and also have a NDS now, but without access to a Nintendo Wii until End of 2007.

Currently playing: Super Smash Brothers Brawl(Wii), Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer(DS), Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime (DS), WiiFit(Wii)

Games Recently Beaten: Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King (Normal; Very Hard after the next DLCs become available)

1 word: RTFA

I made it a little easier to read.

It is software units sold, and percentage of the software for Wii.

interesting, perhaps you could do past weeks [maybe last week, week before] or maybe go back in 4 week increments so see what it was like a month ago.... could add a bit more depth to it.

maybe note how many games contribute to the totals. oh and your japanese W/O pack-ins percentage should probably not add to 117%

@TWRoO: Thanks, that is a good idea putting the number of titles. Too bad I am at work and couldn't save the speadsheet i used to do this, I should have used google docs. Past weeks/4 week periods would be a good addition, I will do that when I get home from work for June/July(edit:maybe, I am really tired, I work over nights).

(edit2: fixed)

hell ill do it for you if you like, im incredibly bored and like this sort of thing.... if you let me, bare in mind i only have MS works, so only have spreadsheet and not excel, though its just as good for things like this.

all credit to your idea of course.

Go ahead, I am not doing this for attention.

okies, here we go; American Wii software sales comparison from week ending June 23rd to week ending July 21st (past 4 weeks).

i'm not sure if i miscounted, you miscounted, or the sales have changed for this last week (July 21st) but i have different numbers to you steven......i did notice that on all the weeks my total software was always short of the the software totals table, i assumed that table must include software below the top 200.

just had a look at this week, and taking away the green number from the blue number (to get Wii Play) you have only 26,106. but on the software page it now says 67,481......as for third party software, after re-checking you had them exact, wheras i had added Big brain academy onto them for some reason.

Also i have figures for week endin Jan 6th, because i was going to do them in 4 week timescales, but i realised that would be more unfair on 3rd parties due to 1st week sales for games, for if a game released the week after a week i looked at and it was Nintendo, chances are it will have long enough legs to count, but 3rd party games don't often have great legs. (especially on Nintendo systems)

i'll put the figures on the next post.
