This is news? The Wii hasn't been stock in my area since it was released.

It's funny because they have the boxes out at plenty of places then when people ask to buy them they've all been sold out. Well ok that's not really funny.

I only have mine because my girlfriend bought it for me on ebay for my birthday.

First off, this does not track Walmart and a few other stores. Second, it is based off of each store's online inventory information so it's across the entire US not just certain regions. If that isn't up to date, the store is not up to date, which is often the case. It's VERY easy for a store to claim no stock because they've been told by corporate to not scan any shipments in preparation for a planned "sale" day. With Strikers out this week, that might be what is happening in this case.

Agreed, this is not news...Wii has been sold out over here since it came out...occasionally it'd take a day or so, but not much longer for any store around here to sell out...

There aren't any in the Austin Texas area for sure. My Xbox 360 is down and I'm jonesen hard for something to play. The PS3 is still too much $$$ or I go get one.

I used to see Wii's in stock in february/march. I really thought people were exaggerating the "sold-out". Haven't seen any since then, though.

itrackr is not 100% reliable.

Have seen some in stock sometimes (about 5 consoles)... last time when i went to buy my Ds Lite and Brain Training :p (that was about 1½ weeks ago)
