Here is the new dashboard in pretty good shape. It shows the new Live experience to and the Gears of War theme. I think it looks better, smoother and far more easy to navigate. +1 M$ good job.

The music is EPIC!!

Am i the only one that think this .. isnt so good? I mean i always kinda liked the xbox userface like it is now. I even got a copy of that theme on my PS3 ( Dont work exactly like the Xbox just background and some icons ) but still. I dont like the avatars since they look like... cartoon ppl it ruins my view of the BLOOD CHAINSAW XBOX view XD. THen again i own a PS3 and some friends the 360 so why am i even here :/. Hope you dont mind i shared my opinion. Hope you all like it!

I dunno, I think a few people will have the same opinion but it's probably just because they are used to the way things are now. I think after the initial shock to something new subsides people will enjoy it much more.

Just from the videos it looks to be a lot quicker and better organized. Some areas like the Marketplace and Games Library were needlessly cluttered and needed an overhaul. The avatars honestly are just a distraction imo to the larger dashboard revamp. I'm personally excited for the update.

OT: The video is cool that it shows the different aspects but it goes so fast with no explanation it's hard to follow whats going on.

The thing is, it isn't about the avatars at all. That was just thrown in in an attempt to get some casuals (Microsoft would be stupid not to try and tap that market). The update seems easier to navigate, its got some nice new features and it looks a lot nicer. I didn't hate the old interface, but I like what I've seen of the new one so far. As always some people wont enjoy it, just like how many people don't like the old dashboard.

Did I see trophies?

no it isnt so good, its just a redesigned dash with a few extra features. somehow microsoft have tricked 360 owners in thinking thier gaming will be enhanced

its better than the current xbox dash as thats very poor. and it will surely look nicer on ur tv, but on the whole, its a redesigned dash

i dont think the avatars are any good, as theres simply nothing u can do with them, theres a new game out and will be many more that have avatar support, but to pay extra for a game just to see ur avatar which is only basically customisable is a bit dire imo.

still its something new to try out, and xbox owners should be happy

Pay extra for a game? A kingdom of Keflings is a full arcade title which has gotten some excellent early reviews. It's done by Ninja bee who did the excellent Cloning Clyde, Outpost Kaloki X and Band of Bugs

All I want is for them to add the ability to stream mts video files from my PC.
