Forums - Sony - Best psp rpg yet?

Jeanne the arc was the first video I saw which was on the site's videos, I am I afraid that its one of those tactic games that is used for selecting were to move with squares. Though I havent loked into it I dont know if its that or an adventure type rpg like new travelor.

Brave Story was one of the best released in Japan .Its sad that the US press didnt like it so much .

Other good PSP RPG are Valkyrie Profile Lenneth ,Tales of Eternia ,Tales of the World Radiant Mythology ,Jean D´Arc ,Disgaea ,Tales of Destiny 2 ,Magna Carta Portable ...

Upcoming we have Final Fantasy Tactics the Lion War and Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core ,and Wild Arms of course .

RPGamer.com gave it a 4.5/5 and it sure looks better than playing FF2 for the 3rd time ....even though i got ff2 to play for the third time anyways....

I expect it to be a good game, but I expect Jeanne D'Arc to be better. But beyond that here are metacritic average scores for big PSP RPGs:

Tales of Eternia- 82%
Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth- 80%
Gurumin: A Monstrous Adventure- 79%
Dungeon Maker: Hunting Ground- 70%
FF: Anniversary Edition- 69%
Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology- 69% (still new)

So there are a few others that have been reviewed well, but this and Jeanne D'Arc are great additions and should go up there with VP and Tales of Eternia and Gurumin.

Thanks to Blacksaber for the sig!

Kingdom of Paradise (Key to Heaven in EUR): got an overall average of 78%

I thought it was absolutely brilliant.

And I'm absolutely stoked they're developing a sequel.

I didn't put it in because it was action RPG, but Gurumin is too so I guess I should include it since it is an action JRPG and goes with the rest.

I didn't know about the sequel, it got very up and down reviews. I never actually played it, just know of it. Maybe I should get that game, I'm sure it sells for a bargain price now.

I have bought almost every RPG that has came out for the PSP, (even BoF which was an absolute rip off) and Kingdom of Paradise is probably one of the best ones I have played, truly shows off the PSP's power. and the battle system is great, it just doesn't last long enough.

If it's in the bargain bin I'd definitely get it.

I sold my PSP and all of my games, but when I re-buy one this will be probably one of the only RPG's I'll re-buy.

I don't understand why this game got so many semi-low reviews.

Yeah, I think that Lenneth is probably the best but I haven't played Tales so  I can't really say

Lenneth is a great game even for being so old. Silmeria which came out on PS2 more recently was pretty good too, just not as good.
