Ocarina of time , I think will be alot of people's #1 zelda game, that or Twilight princess. The answers will most likely vary with age.

I was born during the 4th so i played 5th when Ocarina came out

Majora's Mask was just so dark, realistic, and depressing, and the heap of sidequests helped a lot, too. For me, that's what set it apart from the other Zeldas and made it the best.

I loved Link to the past, it was my first Zelda game, and I still play it over and over.

Although this thread is pretty common around here. In all seriousness, it seems like someone starts it at least once a month, sometimes more. Not knocking you or anything, though; I'm just a bit amused by that, for some reason.
