Hmm...I always thought that IUD was a birth control device. Enix into medical supplies too? that would go a long way to explain why they're so slow at releasing PS3 software; they only seem to have have time for MS and they need birth control.

Wasn't IUD essentially paid for by MS? I remember reading it was something of a 3 way collaboration where the Star Ocean guys makes, MS funds it and Square-Enix releases it. If so, and the rumor the IUD engine is being used for SO4, that could be a reason why they aren't releasing it for the PS3 (MS making a deal with SE by essentially paying for the engine being used in both games).

Infinite Undiscovery is a Microsoft IP, Tri-Ace developed it and Square-Enix co-published with them... So that title won't go to PS3...

As for the other titles, money, and i'm cool with that, what i don't like is the bulls**t they tell sometimes...

What you thought the PS3 was going to keep getting exclusives with LESS software sales and LESS marketshare then there competition?

Also Wada is dick who refuses to make bigger titles for the market leader, which isnt so bad because other harder working third party's flourish from lack of competition

Money from somewhere not related to game sales. I mean SO4's got to get it's money back from somewhere.

 Because the 360 has had a higher unit purchasing rate out of both systems. Not just that, but they have the larger installed base whom is active. I'd dare say 1/3 of PS3 owners bought a PS3 solely for Blu Ray. Square wants to make as much as they can. The highest purchased games on the PS3 goes between an underrated bundled game in Motorstorm and another semi-bundled game with big hype in MGS4. This isn't so on the 360 which has proved that their installed base doesn't need bundles to support pushing units. 

whenever you see a 'timed exclusive' it just means they were paid. it makes no sense to release a game at a later date on another platform unless there was some compensation involved.

as far as exclusives go, it really depends on who is co-developing/publishing the thing.

so basically, microsoft is paying square enix a lot of money in order to get a foothold in japan.

SE is like the new girl who would sleep with anyone to get to the top. 1st she slept with Ninty, divorced Ninty, took half of what they had and moved over to the new bachelor in the hood - the PS2. After sleeping with the PS2 for some 5 odd years or so, she got bored and moved on again, taking half during the divorce to the next bachelor in the scene - the 360. Tomorrow is a new day and with SE sleeping around as she does, she may find herself someone new to sleep with after taking half of what the 360 owns.

Makes me think, someday if SE isn't careful, she may get herself an STD :s ewww nasty thought.
