The site is loading kind of slow today, really slow in some cases.

Also getting some blank error pages when trying to read some forum pages.


The site kind of loaded slow in my LG Dare today at work.. but don't think that means anything due to different kinds of data streams Cell/PC.

 

Wondering if some Site editing is going on?  I don't see an unusual amount of people on the site, typical 1,500 users online.

as the holidays are coming in we are seeing the servers go down as more people swoop into the site to view figures of SONY's epic 4-D Gaming console....and ofcourse for the other two as well

I've been getting a banner timing out on pages for weeks which brings up an error which i need to click OK on and then stop on my browser to stop it from trying to reload the page. Very annoying.

Yes Nnumonex.. Thats the exact same error i've bene getting today, got it about a week or so ago as well.

Ya I was thinking about that... but

we are at 1,500 to 1,400 users, it's always like that.. well majority of the time anyway.

 

Thats why I was thinking ioi is updating some things.

I hope the site breaks the high score of 5000 users online at the same time. ioi would be happy with that milestone and hopefully the site can handle the extra traffic. More traffic = more money for the site.

Upgraded servers are needed to be able to cope with the extra traffic.
