FM4 really did lose the flavor of FM3.  I blame it on the mechs moving too damn slow and them overcomplicating the battle system

 

Yup. While FM3 gives me a warm feeling inside, FM4 gives me a feeling of "meh". lol.

Yeah, i keep trying to get into it... but then i just find myself quitting and popping in FM3 about right before the two paths join up.  Which reminds me, i gotta take my scratched up disc to that gamecrazy by me that buffs games.

I have a working copy but having  a backup to a game that awesome never hurts.

I need a disc doctor for myself. I heard those things work well... the only game I have two copies of is Final Fantasy 10 =P

Even though I bought a PS3 mainly due to FFXIII (also sold my 360 as it hadn't been announced by then >_>), I'm getting REALLY anxious whether or not SE can deliver the quality we all expect...

The only great games SE has given us for the last 2 years at least are portable games, mainly DS ports (FFIV). Capcom has taken the top developer spot for me long ago.

I disagree that FFX was the best FF since VII. I also think that XII was awesome and so shall be XIII.

Seriously, a slow battle system, terrible story, annoying characters game, that is only saved by terrific graphics and artstyle better than FFX? no.

It'll all start getting much more involving from hour... 4-6 I think. I started my savegame 2.5 years ago, so my memory is very rusty.

What I'm saying is that Tidus sucks. Like, Vaan is an everyman, but Tidus is an actively offensive big tit. And Auron is apparently made of cardboard.

It better REALLY crank up.

And the writing better improve.
