O my god makes me sick, you have to be kidding me. The only reason why people did this is so they can get more power. Not only that but its an attack on every nations national soverignty.

Ill give you an example, You have a country like Latvia that will end up paying to clean the beaches in Britain. Not to mention half of your reasons are flawed.

They donate twice as much in foriegn aid? But that doesnt matter, the numebr would still be the same if they are not unionized.

I didn't write this list. Everyone's entitled to their opinions, but you seem to be buying into right-wing media far too much. Let me guess, Daily Mail? The Sun? Sky News? Come on, which is it.

90% chance that it's owned by Rupert Murdoch, who happens to be very anti-EU.

Naw, just an AMmerican Libertarian. And i cant tell you how pissed I will be if there is a North American Union.

You do realise that that the EU is essentially like the US, except the countries have far more power than states.

Vancouver is actually on my list for cities to go to. Then I can add it to my "not as good as London" list.

You're Québécois? Officialy, Fête de la Reine is now officially called Journée nationale des Patriotes before that it was Fête de Dollard

The finances of independence used to make sense. We would recuperate the money which we gave to the Federal government while only getting a smaller proportion back. But now, thanks to Albertan oil, we receive more then we give in through equalization payments. (which in turn gives rise to Albertan independence movements)

its a good list, i like the EU (Except France)

The point about give twice as much aid to Africa is only good if you like Africa which isn't me.

It also ignores the fact that the US also donates twice as much to charity as percent of GDP than the next closest nation. True, government aid is different than charity, but the insinuation that the US is greedy is specious.
