Those are a few of the bigger-ish ones. Microsoft doesn't tend to announce games ages before they come out...Ninja Gaiden 2 was only announced in late 2007.

Alot of you listed many games but have yet to answer the question. Seriously what's the big 360 game for 09? XD

Halo 3 Recon - Sequel to the best-selling game in Microsoft history. Assured to sell 4m copies
Alan Wake - Name alone should be enough. May not be a 3m+ seller, but if the game is as good as it looks, it's going to be one of the best X360 games made, and genre-breaking too.
Forza Motorsports 3 - Sequel to a quickly-improving series. FM1 sold 1m copies, barely. FM2 sold around 1.5-2m before bundling.
APB - Major MMO from RealTimeWorlds (Crackdown/Grand Theft Auto). I figure this one will be huge too.
Mass Effect 2 - Sequel to a very successful new IP which sold 2m copies on the X360 alone.
Of the list, H3R should be the best-selling at over 4m units, if not 6 or more. Outside of that, Alan Wake and Mass Effect 2 will be well received and have great potential to be breakout hits.
I think every fanboy forgets that Gears of War 1 had absolutely no hype until E3 in 2006. That's when everyone realized it was going to be the "uber game". What was Microsofts uber-game this year? It wasn't 12 months before, that everyone began to anticipate, because we heard the same rhetoric from Sony fanboys and anti-X360'ers that the X360 was going to have no games in 08. Now at the end of the year, we can look back and see that it was an incredible year. 2009 will be as well.

MS will open the wallet and get Bioshock², Mass Effect² and Assassins Creed² exclusively (at least 1 year exclusive). Maybe I Am Alive, too. :)

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...
maybe a new killer instinct game , could be one of their potential big hits. also mass effect 2 could be another one.

It hasn't been announced yet. Like I previously said, Microsoft's big game this year wasn't announced until January 2008. Microsoft is taking more of a Nintendo approach lately to announcing their games.
From unveiling to release:
Gears of War 2: 10 months
Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise: 4 months
Ninja Gaiden II: 9 months
Lips: 4 months
You're in the Movies: 4 months
Almost nothing was announced in 2007 for 2008 release. Almost every game being release in 2009 so far has either been from their previous 2006 mistakes of announcing everything way too early, or they were just recently announced(Ninja Blade, Ninety-Nine Nights 2, Halo 3: Recon).
Even Sony's fall headliner wasn't announced until February 2008(Resistance 2), and in my mind that is the way it should always be. I'm sick and tired of 4 years of trailers and silence until release.

lol it was a joke..sheeshh such serious ppl when gamings all about fun. i just thought it was funny how alot of the ppl post the same games thats all. Like nobody got the hint what the big 360 games were, and again you posted the same stuff as others did. nuthing wrong with that but i got the answer of this thread after the first few post. ease up.
