So gears sells well but still pales when compared with Wii fit. Not bad.

Like anyone expected otherwise. LBP legs in Japan seem very nonexistent at the moment.


but really did anyone expect Resistence 2, Killzone 2 or LBP to even get NEAR what Gears 2 did?

Legs are usually nonexistent in Japan.

Well lets be fair. Motorstorm 1 wasn't great. It was just a servicible racing game for the PS3 which didn't have much going for it... then it was bundled.

I mean, the PS3 has had much better racers since then...

They're all just placeholders till GT5 anyway.

 

Kas Motorstorm 1 sold 3 Million

Yes some were from bundles....but not more than 1 million

2 Million lets say without counting bundles....n these kind fo sales are just awful!

 

Yeah but it released near launch... when there were few good PS3 games... and like no racing Ps3 games... and europe espiecally likes racers.

I mean, look at Red Steel. That did an easy mil on the Wii. It was a average FPS but it was the only one the wii had.

ok....but there's no denying Motorstorm 2 has lost them money

Yeah probably, but still... it's not like it was as bad as like Haze, Stranglehold or Too Human or something, a game where you know they gave it a Triple A development budget or something.

Motorstorm 2 proabably only got average HD funding in my opinion.

Stranglehold isn't near as bad as Haze or Too Human.

I seem to remember Stranglehold having a budget in excess of 30 million... which.  Haze if it exceeded that didn't probably exceed it by that much.  Then again they did have a lot of advertising.

As for Too Human, budget probably depends on whether you count each "Too Human" that was shelved as part of the original when dealing with the budget... or if you just go with the 360 version.

Wrong, VGChartz indicates that first day sales of GeoW2 easily surpassed first week sales of Wii fit.
