Forums - Nintendo - Trace memory & Hotel Dusk

Trace memory was good, but short. I think I spent about 5-6 hours on it total, and that was traveling, so I wasn't paying 100% attention to it. It had a few annoying puzzles (scratch off rust, blow off dust, etc.) but overall was pretty decent.

Hotel Dusk had a decent story and was quite a bit longer. The art direction was fantastic too. Again, some annoying puzzles, but not a bad game overall. If you enjoy character development and character based story telling, I'd pick this up.

Personally, I'd get the Phoenix Wright games over both of these. Are there any other suggestions for good adventure games on the DS? I'm always looking for new ones!

Of the two Dusk wins.......but they are both good interactive novels.

Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

Hotel Dusk is one of my favorite games, ever. It has a really cool noire atmosphere that no game has ever successfully emulated.

There is a great part where the main character is talking about drinking scotch, and how much the glass weighs, and "a good pour."

Just a classy game from a great developer. It's a must play, imo. Hotel Dusk, the most adult game on a console, lol.

...well, not "adult" more like "mature."

I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.

NO NO, NO NO NO.
