Forums - Nintendo - Call of Duty: WAW REAL GRAPHICS footage, not a youtube one, still great

Glad to see 3rd parties putting effort in to Wii titles. I hope this sells well.

Definitely not better than The Conduit.

But, two questions because I'm too lazy to look it up.

(1) Local multiplayer (split screen) y/n?

(2) Do controls/customization rival MoH:H2, by any chance?

If the answers to these two questions are yes, then I will happily be getting this for Wii. Also,

(3) Is there online multiplayer?

Because if the answer to that is yes, too, then I'll be happy to pass it up on the 360 and just go with the Wii edition, since I already have CoD4 for 360.

I really don't see how this game looks better than the Conduit. Those gametrailers videos aren't that good and didn't convince me about getting it. I'll wait for some reviews and real live-feed footage.

Because this game comes out now and the Conduit will released in spring? The Conduit and this game's graphics is still in debate we're not sure but saying you wont buy this game because the graphics didnt you satisfied? And I thought graphics isnt everything.

Anyway, are everyone here really expects that the Wii can do a fraction of HD's console graphics and the Quantum engine can do that?!!

I still cant  believe everyone here in terms of graphics arent even satisfied about this game even what graphics COD 3 and MOH:H 2 have.

(1) No anyway, just deal with it, even The Conduit have no splitscreen so why complain?

(2) YES.In messageboards and videos I've seen so far...

(3) YES.

Actually, the answer to this question is yes, then no. There is local multiplayer, but it isn't split screen. It allows a second player to join in in a rail-shooter fashion. P1 controls movement and camera and more enemies are added to the scenario to give both P1 and P2 plenty to shoot at.

I gave my reason.

And an opinion isn't automatically valid, especially if it's based on a falacious premise. Plus your oginal comment was comment on the capabilities of the quantum 3 engine vs the CoD4 engine, which is even less valid, as it's trying to make a comparison of the objective capabilities of each, based on the incomplete vs complete game.

So no, I don't respect an opinion, when it's based on such a skewed premise. When The Conuit is comlete, then we can make valid comparisons.

OK THEN, if thats what you think about it we just have to wait then just to finish what we're arguing about...

@illegalpaladdin---> You can change the dead zone if thats what you're posting, I think the uploader just playing this game in default mode.

My argument IS to wait. Why wasn't that clear?

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

im giving up getting this on 360 because i have cod4. i really want a fps for Wii before the conduit comes out.

who here would be willing to make do with ps2 graphics(in offline multiplayer only) if it allowed 4 player splitscreen with loads of options and bots?

Better than The Conduit? you're high. This is CoD 1 graphics... a little better, actually. Quantum of Solace looks better too... QoS is the shooter to buy this year for Wii owners...

In that case, then, I will not be buying it right away. I'll probably eventually purchase it, but without local splitscreen multiplayer, it's not worth getting excited over. I'm planning on getting The Conduit, and without a substantial selling-point to explain why I should also get this, it's not worth the full-price.

I'll just get it for Wii and 360 in the future off eBay, used, for a fraction of the original price.
