There were RPG's on the N64? xP

I had no idea there were any worthwhile (besides Paper Mario), though that game wasn't exactly popular, I imagine. I was more into my PC those days. Seems I'll have to check the Ogre stuff out...

edit: Have to comment on CT's soundtrack - the character themes are alone are amazing. I'd hang out at the End of Time where you could select your characters just to listen to em...

You have another game to check out first, remember? And after that more games from the same series will follow. Then you can check Ogre Battle

Ha, of course. To be honest, FFXII wasn't exactly my favorite, so I'd go into the Ogre series a bit skeptical. I'll still give it a chance, but there really are a ton of other old games I've missed out on, so...

I wonder if I'll ever have time to play them all. Thankfully there aren't many new console games on the horizon I have much interest in (some games I'd like on the 360, but I don't have one).

The Ogre battle games and FF 12 are related... but...

It's like comparing The most recent Batman movies  with Batman Forever.

The influence is still there... it's just... nowhere near the same level of quality.

Good maybe then character design will make male characters look like male characters, only one belt and now game play may actually return to the series.

Dammit epic thread I should have been here when it was made :P

OT: Nomura don't leave kh needs you.

That's off-topic, we're now discussing which games have good sountracks and if the Ogre games are better than what Matsuno did in Square

Nomura hasn't been mentioned since page 2 or 3

Lol guys, this thread get so off-topic,but it's really entertaining watch all this posts, coming from Final Fantasy's lovers like me,keep on rolling ;)

My favorite soundtrack is the one from FF6,followed closely for the one of FF8,but the shame thing is that I love every FF soundtrack except the XII,very forgettable for my tastes.

The vocal versions are awesome too,Pray and Love will grow transport me to another world O.O

Actualy I did listen to the clip. It was a bunch of music from different games. Which one of them was Suikoden?

Haha, okay... so FF12 was the Batman Forever?

Well, whatever. I'll figure it out myself eventually

All of them, they were from different games in the series, from I to V and Tactics
