I thought the same, isn't this a hardcore parody or something?
Anyway, I kinda agree with #3, but thinking about it, Nintendo games have never been too difficult since the Snes era. Mario World, A link to the Past etc were very easy games. Maybe we see them too easy now because we're now more experienced, but reading some posts in Amazon, there a lot of people having trouble with Galaxy. I wish they were a bit more difficult though, for example, Mario Galaxy had more Purple Coin Galaxies would had been excellent for me. |
THIS. This effect never fails to amaze me. Games are actually incredibly easy once you learn the logic behind them. the only games that aren't are the one that usually require you spend hours redoing the same level over and over in order to memorize all the timing involved.
I actually ended up skipping the Zelda: Oracle of Ages/Seasons games for the Gameboy color, and now that I've had a chance to play them, they're challenging, but I still have only died about 2 times total due to getting lazy about keeping potion backups. (I will admit that they're far more challenging than Phantom Hourglass ever was though) Going back and playing Link to the Past is a walk in the park, so are Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask. Just for kicks, I recently beat Super Mario world in roughly 10 minutes, using the star warp points. I can't do THAT with Mario Galaxy. He was comparing that to the Shines in Mario Sunshine? Didn't people HATE that game?
