It's never going to happen. GoW2 isn't even going to the PC, and there's already rumors claiming Epic is a first-party for Microsoft. (Obviously not true, YET..) The only people who think otherwise are desperate Sony fanboys still in denial about GoW2 not going to the PC.
Even if Epic was going bankrupt, and had no other choice, Microsoft would buy the IP in a second.

No. Short answer. And although RFOM isnt a bad game, M$ would be stupid to trade for that. Maybe FF13 or MGS4, but 1 of those has already been got. :)
Gears 2 is my fave game this gen, so nothing is worth the trade.

tbh..i dont think you will find many who actually woud like to play the game. people just want to see another meltdown like the one after the ff13 announcement and they think that will cause one.

Million, whenever next you argue that XXX ps3 exclusive game should stay exclusively on the ps3 because multiplatform games end up being inherenntly worse since they don't exploit a single platform to the fullest I'll link this post of yours.
Gears 2 didn't go multiplatform because there was a contract with a breach clause big enough neither sony wanted to pay nor epic middle-finger microsoft in such a way. As far as we know they only signed for two games, which means it's now negotiating time.
The key question being how the technology behind gears is multiplatform (UE3) is how much is Epic going to ask and how much is MS willing to pay.

Multiplatforming did not ruin any games this generation. I enjoyed many multiplatform games, and I pray for the day when I can finally play my most desired games on one system.
