it really doesn't need to. sales are so great that they probably aren;t even exporing the possibilties. plus the gears fanbase is on 360. if gears 3 or 4 was released in the nest gen, then maybe.

@Smoke MS doesn't own gears.


Epic will want even more money for future iterations of Gears since the fanbase has grown to such an extent . MS will have to drop alota cash to offer a better alternative to 16.5 Million Ps3's.

i dont count the pc, because its not a home console, and i dont see it coming to the ps3

Microsoft will buy Epic before they let this one go... there are only a few games that can put up these kinds of numbers

I'm very sure this won't happen.....M$ are smart enough not to lose it... look at how Sony lost like 20+ exclusives.....

But since I'm only a PS3 owner..... I sure hope so!

Gears is likely to sell 11M+ between two games released within 4 years. They wouldn't risk anything which could potentially damage sales of their darling franchise like spread their resources too thinly and a cross advertising deal with Microsoft for exclusivity is something which definately pays off.
