It is all over gaming forums, as soon as I mention VGChartz the only answer I get is FAIL. I have to say that sometimes, in fact many times VGChartz predictions have been so off the boil it is not even funny, when NPD arrives and you compare it to VGChartz......my goodness.

Dont ban me for saying that numbers on VGChartz are wrong on many occasions, numbers will back me up on that statement and why am I on this site? I like it, does not mean I think the numbers are close to correct. -_-

N4G is not a good source, don't listen to the haters...

Just ignore them, they can't stand the fact that Vgchartz does a good job in tracking sales.

Anyway, it's like this: If a news station says something bad about a politician the viewer supports they call it bias. When they say something good they call it news.

N4G breeds fanboys and fudd articles/blogs.
They do get a ton of info you just have to ignore all the fake shit on that site.

I frequent n4g, as far as the community goes... Well they like subjective news more so than figures, in this case since VG updates every week there would be too much non-subjective material. Where as NPD is accepted in part of monthly update but also the method can be confirmed by almost any relative publisher.

After all VG claims to track ammount sold to the consumer, in the end the "stigma" comes from compounding strawmen arguments.

The fact is, N4G is full of idiots. Some even believe that NPD are "official" numbers, whatever that means.

I don't even trust this site or its people. I think you come to the wrong place seeking an answer on why "all the hate". Internet is Serious Business!
