God of War II was easily my favorite game of all time and the prospect of killing Gods in HD excites me. One of the only failings of God of War II was the cop-out cliff hanger ending, with that flaw not being a possibility in GoW3 I can't see what could prevent it from becoming my new favorite game.

As long as it remains bloody and gory like the first two I will buy it day one. It's almost a given that the story will be good so that's just icing on the cake.

I've never played a single GoW.....how long are part 1 and 2? I really hate short single-player games. I'm not buying them anymore, unless they have good replay value.

GOW 3 will be awesome, but I don't see it selling like 4 mil or more. I see it at most selling 3 mil, unless it gets ridiculous amounts of hype which IMO it would need RIDICULOUS graphics to achieve (see KZ2).

Probably. You know they have sites that specialize in games that are nothing but sex scenes. You should check them out. I heard from my friend's cousin's brother's uncle's grandfather's dog's marsupial that a lot of them are quality gaming. Naturally, Onyxmeth is above needing sex games to fulfill his daily quota of man juice.

All you've seen from me may seem negative, but I'll I've written is not. Also, I'm not being negative about the game, I'm just stating my opinion about the franchise. I've never hated on Metal Gear, Disgaea, or any good franchise(franchises I like) on the PS3. In fact, I love those games. My hatred of God of War has nothing to do, at all, with my Sony foeboyism. You should believe me on that score. I recognize others like the game, but I don't, and there is a rather large group of beat-em-up fans who agree with me on this topic, but I'd rather not over-run the thread with conversation about the quality of past itterations.

For the guy who asked why I even posted in the thread, I was hoping to get across the message early to stop overhyping games for years ahead of time, because it just turns the game into some unobtainable symbolance of perfection, when it just isn't.

I can post my opinion anywhere I want, as long as I'm not trolling, and I certainly wasn't trolling.
