Both games are exclusive to PS3 and are releasing close to each other so would like to know what you think.

Personally I think Killzone 2 will outsell R2 2:1 so I would make it 2.5M LTD for R2 and 5M LTD for Killzone 2. Resistance was much better then Killzone but even those were years apart and Killzone 1 was Guerillas first game. Killzone 2 has for one recieved much more hype, I suspect will be adveritsed much more but it also releases in a "dead zone" where it will have no competition unlike R2.

Gameplay wise Killzone 2 is also far superior to R2 besides co-op where R2 is simply fantastic and well Killzone 2 has none whatsoever. I think anyone who has played both R2 and Killzone 2 MP can agree with me that KZ 2 is just in another league.

Killzone 1 was not Guerilla's first game. Also, I seriously doubt you have played either R2 or KZ2 judging by your post history.

If you love R2 just wait until you give Killzone 2 a spin. Honestly had Killzone 2 released before R2 I could not see R2 selling more then a million, it's just that good.

What was Guerrillas first game then? If it was not it must have been something very low budget.

KZ2 all the way. Im picking 4.5M LTD for that game.

Excellent multiplayer, and I hear the singleplayer is excellent also.

r2 has a nice story but its not that big... it was released in hopes that this christmas will boost its sales. i would expect insomniac to go back to ratchet and clank.

Killzone 2 definitely wont be posting GeOW 2 numbers but 5M LTD seems very likely, this is one game people will just pick up due to looking good. Add on the gameplay is just fabulous and we have ourselves a winner.

Agree with this, though sales might not get quite that high.  That's almost Gears levels, but the ps3 doesn't have the benefit of an extremely robust NA userbase.

It will outsell both R1 and R2, though.

Killzone 2 my friends, makes everything else look like a cartoon. Judging by the Beta, I'm pretty confident it'll have a place next to Crysis and COD4 as one of the best (and I mean top 5) FPS ever. And just so the guys who haven't played the beta can have an idea, let me tell you the action and graphics in COD4 are "poor" compared to KZ2's.
