Rol won't be happy with that post :P

Haha well it's a good thing his happiness isn't my reason for living. But I just don't see F-Zero as a viable property anymore. Hasn't had a release since the GC version. No DS or Wii version yet. Unless we hear an announcement in the next year, this series is going to get it's pensions and move to Florida.

Couldn't you say that about pretty much every Nintendo franchise at some point. Over the last ten years or more, it's very common for Nintendo to release just one game from their main franchises on a console. Mario is a good example or Mario Kart, Smash Brothers and others. Before last year, you could've said the same thing about Smash Brothers, there wasn't a version since the GC and no DS version. That was of course until SSBB. The same is true for Mario, there was only the version for GC and a 2D style game on the DS.
There could be a F-Zero announced and it could out to be an incredible racing game and totally revitalize the series. I also feel the same for Star Fox since I noticed a few people mention that series too. It was a great game that sadly had a couple weak games as it's last two entries in the series. However, I think a Wii version would turn out to be an awesome game.
With that said, that's why I still have to say Mario Party. It hasn't really changed much over the series with the exception of the recent Wii version. Where do they go from there now? I can't see the series innovating much again from what they just did. I certainly don't expect them to end the series though because of the excellent sales.
