Well, it isn't a big deal of course.

I want to know that too, all the sigs link to profile, mine didn't (it didn't link, nothing happened when I clicked), so I manually added a hyperlink, but now I have a blue rectangle around my sig

 

 

I figured it out. If you copy and paste the HTML code, it won't work, as it will do what I described. Remove the /profiles/ and then insert a /forums/

Now, if you use the forum code it will work fine, like in my sig.




If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

Thanks, I realized what was wrong, since I made my sig when there was no "get code" option, I just copied the link of the image and inserted it mannually. Now it's fixed

You have to submit it twice, just like if you use HTML in a post. After hitting "post", you have to hit "edit", then it finally understands the HTML and it'll work. It's the exact same way in your sig.

Could we have a non-console specific one? (ie neither a console nor a game) like maybe a VGchartz one?

Or perhaps the ability to load a picture as the background?

Also perhaps the option to change the overlay box, like the option for a plain white ghosted box over the top, or one with a vertical split to the left (like a coloured square big enough for username or avatar on the left, then a larger, clear white rectangle on the white for sales)

If I had the right software, I could make a way better VGChartz one. I was thinking something with 3D layers - the controller being the highest and thickest layer, with the rays being the next layer, thinner and coming out from the bottom of the controller layer. Then, the gray background being the next layer, with the black ring actually being the bottom (making the black appear to be a "hole" in the gray).

Finally, we'd view it at an angle, just like all the other templates, with the box over top being partially transparent.

If I could understand I would try to make one the way you want it, but I can't understand visual talk ?_?

I'm basically saying to more-or-less design a pseudo-3D model utilizing the VGChartz logo, and use that as the background.
