If I had the right software, I could make a way better VGChartz one. I was thinking something with 3D layers - the controller being the highest and thickest layer, with the rays being the next layer, thinner and coming out from the bottom of the controller layer. Then, the gray background being the next layer, with the black ring actually being the bottom (making the black appear to be a "hole" in the gray).
Finally, we'd view it at an angle, just like all the other templates, with the box over top being partially transparent.
