I have never seen a PS3 advert on TV. NEVER.

AM I JUST UNLUCKY OR DO SONY JUST NOT ADVERTISE?

Yes, it is a wonder the PS3 isn't getting hammered in Europe with little to zero advertising.

Here in UK

Lots of Nintendo split between the Redknapp family playing Wii and various celebs playing DS

Lots of 360 adds for mainly multiplats but it doesnt help the PS3 when the 360 logo is plastered all over them

No PS3 adds that Ive seen as yet. However reports that they are appearing are a sign Sony at least havent given up advertising to cut more costs.

Lets hope Xmas lists arent finalised as of yet, for Sony's sake.

sony are advertising the ps3 everywhere now.

i've seen lbp in newspapers everyweek with it's own dedicated spread, alongside it's very own lbp store in manchester and lbp ads on tv.

i saw the motorstorm ad at the previews at the cinema, i also so the buzz ad at another movie. there were ps3 billboards at the cinema too.

i see the wwe ad all the time on tv.

i saw the mirrors edge ad tv too.

sony are definately stepping up in advertising this year.

the best is the lbp ad, the worst is the motorstorm ad, it's so crap.

They only game worth advertising for is LBP but people will just get the rest of the games that Sony have shown on Xbox 360...

There is nothing genius about Nintendo ads. They are catering to casual + non gamers, your mums, dads and sisters of this world.

There is no way an alpha male who is still unsure of what console to get will think 'hmmm Girls Aloud are playing GOW2 I think I might get me one of those'

In fact, the alpha male is thinking "Wow Cheryl Tweedy and Nadine Coyle are hot, and they're playing Gears of War 2!!!, i didn't know it was out" the ad worked because the women attracted his attention and then it reminded him that the game was out"... Of course, it would be cheaper to just hire two attractive women, no need for full celebrity jejeje...
