Go Lionhead! Seriously good effort, it should definately sail past the LTD total of the previous game at full price before the next year.

4 Million LTD is about right for this game? Or do you think its going to be higher/lower?

Personally I would love to see it as the first WRPG game to hit the 5,000,000 sales mark this generation and one of the first WRPGs to hit that number on any console. It should have definately made its money back from all the advertisement/development costs so any sales from here on out can be defined 100% as pure profit at $40 a copy sold.

4m is a good middle-ground number. That's around what Assassin's Creed did.

I mean look at the American drop off it was HUUUUUGE!

But the European one wasn't huge.

I think Fable 2 deserves sales of 5 Million as it has revolutionised RPG's & many elements of them....but I expect it to not go past 3.12 Million personally.

Well, I think that, despite the major drop, it'll have a pretty good Holiday.

Fable 2 certainly suffered from the fact that Fallout 3 (a highly reviewed RPG) launched the week immediately after it, which may have caused the 70% drop in sales.

However, since we're in November, it should see sales above 100,000 units for quite some time - Maybe even till the end of the year. If that happens, then Fable 2 will be looking at being near 2.5-3m by the end of the year.

ya thats true...but maybe it lost some sales because of the release of Fallout 3....could be possible..

i'm sure it will have good legs and 4 million is a good shot....I hope is does that great, even better..

yes thats a valid reason.....but now thats the reason why I think it will reach 3 Million but not get to 4 Million

Fallout 3.....different games completely but if Fallout 3 affected its launch it could affect the legs too.

that is if Fallout 3 gets a good acceptance....

People are all on about how Wii games have legs, but the 360 is just as good in those regards. If the game is awesome enough it will have the legs. Look at Halo 3 ... its got 10 million in the bag. Gta4 will hit 8 Mill and Gears 2 will be another 8 - 10 mill. It would be nice to think Fable 2 could be up there with 5 Million.
