atleast we have resistance 2
PS3 is just too unfriendly in developer terms for Valve to want to throw developers at it to simply achieve meagre sales
Just look at Orange Box...
EA may well be given the job of butchering it for the PS3.

uh, that is a bad thing for the ps3.
I wouldn't hold my breath for a PS3 port.
If it happens (depends on projected sales), it will more likely be close to a year before it sees the light of day, unless it's rushed, which wouldn't make much sense if they intend to see decent sales, despite being a late release.
It's much like waiting for a PC port of Gears 2; yes it could happen if they figure it will sell well enough, but it will take some time before it happens since the decision to port/publish hasn't been made yet.
(if we see a port of Gears 2 within the next six months though, I think I might be done buying new games for the 360, period)
no way, look at software sales trend, if multiplatform always better on 360,
there is no incentive to port this to ps3.
even exclusive games in ps3, already 3 big titles out and hyped to the roof
socomm not too good
LBP, not as high as predicted
Motorstorm , very bad sales figure
R2, the hype died down fast
next game
COD WAW better sales on 360 confimed
TRU better sales on 360 confirmed with exclusive level
Prince of Percia better sales confirmed
with trend like this L4D port is not going to happen

360 has a larger userbase, should be obvious more people possible to buy = more people buying.
Does not mean it isn't worth releasing, GTA IV sold better on 360, I guess the PS3 version which sold 4m or so wasn't worth it?
Extra sales>no sales. |
Does that go for the Bioshock port? It all depends on how much time/effort/money is spent on making the port to judge whether extra sales>no sales.
If 2K had only known how poorly Bioshock would do on the PS3 do you think they would of bothered? ... they could of concentrated more on Bioshock 2.

Valve = very small company
Why port to PS3... which is many times harder and costly to port to then 360... just to get a few extra sales.
The ROI isn't there when they could be making Portal Two or HL episode 3.

that's not true... they just think the system's setup is retarded... for an independent group they need to make as much money as they can with the least amount of extra spending... it's just easier for them to do PC/360 and let EA do any PS3 ports... as the PS3 gains more momentum this will become less of an issue I think
