A good number of the Wind Waker's tunes are rearrangements of older Zelda songs, as are tunes in many other Zelda games.

The music that plays while sailing is a rearrangement  (an exremely altered rearrangment) of the Hyrule Field music from the Ocarina of Time, as well.

@makingmusic: Yea, you are right. The open sea sailing is obviously an altered version of Hyrule Field in OoT.

Isn't this common knowledge? Nintendo likes to use the same songs, but altered, for the parts of the game that are similar.

Is Death Mountain music the same as Dragon Roost Island music? I thought so.

Yeh it's very similar trestres, much like the music for the morning in hyrule field and the dawn in the sailing part of wind waker, that one is identical.

I still say I wanted it in Twilight Princess. Awesome song.

Yeah, I can see a bit of a resemblance. Mostly after 30 seconds on the Windfall song.

The Wind Waker used quite a lot of remixed songs from other Zelda games and gave it some kind of Irish touch to fit the theme of the game.

The music in the village below the mountain in Twilight Princess (yeah I don´t know what it is called in English, as some names might be changed in the german translation) is a western kind of remix of Kakariko as well. Ever noticed?

When i first played Wind Waker and i went to the Island immediately i thought" hey it's the kakariko theme cool!"

If the positions of the islands correspond to the Hyrule locations, wouldn't Windfall Island be in the northeast of the ocean?
