Forums - Nintendo - Windfall Island Music (Zelda WW) = Kakariko Village Music (OoT)

Wow, I have been replaying TLoZ:TWW for these last days, and when I arrived at Windfall Island, Kakariko Village music from OoT came to my head. If you listen closely, they are the same song, although it's like a remixed and slightly modified and faster paced one. The notes match exactly.

Nintendo did a damn good job here, it's not easy to tell, but if you listen closely you will realize. Conclusion, Windfall Island used to be Kakariko Village before the floodings. Notice also how Dragon Roost Island, which is obviously Death Mountain, is situated near Windfall Island.

Hmm it IS the same song but with a different arrangement, I'm positive about that,

Noticed it since I first played the game. Zelda has a lot of cool things hidden in its music that people never realize.

Like how the OoT intro song is the Recorder from LoZ (and SMB3), or how the intro theme in TP is part of the intro theme from LoZ (which doesn't get nearly enough use).

I think Adventure of Link is one of the few games in the series to hardly be referred to musically by later installments.
