Crysis looks like crap and there's no need to paste a still shot of the crytec engine demo thanks.

This year MGS4 has the best graphics and I'd say only Uncharted has better visuals. Crispy Smooth. There is no doubt that Gears 2 will be up there as Gears 1 was quite good looking. Let's put mass effect up there for the 4 best looking games I've seen this gen. Oh and the Leviathan scene is amazing in resistance 2 and we must mention Dead Space visuals.

The best looking console game of the year will probably go to either go to Gears 2 or Prince of Persia... but that's only if you don't count the Killzone2 beta. MGS4 looks great and all, but like R2, the graphics are hit and miss depending on the levels. If I had to break it down, i'd also say that MGS4 has the best character model (particularly Snake). But yeah, it'll either go to Gears2 or Prince of Persia.
