Meh. These sales aren't anything special, I don't see why anybody's getting worked up over them. It certainly didn't tank, but it sure isn't phenomenal. Now we just have to see if the game has legs or not.

This was pretty much what people expected. I went through a bit of last week's threads, and most people said A) LBP will be at least 200K or B) LBP week 2 will > LBP week 1

Of course, there was the occasional lunitec who predicted 500K NA for 2nd week, but those were few.

It is clearly obvious they came in here to troll. Once again we have people generalizing, claiming so many expected monstrous opening week sales when this forum community knows damn well that was not the case.

It is like earlier this week, when people made these bogus claims I asked them to provide links to prove their claims. Guess how many provided links? ZERO, yes that is right, ZERO. All their claims were based on 2 members, Gearbox and Crazzyman, hardly the "PS3 community".

Instead they said "Plenty on this site will agree with me". Of course others will say it, although it is always the same people each time. Oyvoyvoyo just did you a favor and looked through it himself and let us know these sales are dead on with MAJORITY of this sites predictions.

Just let it go and allow the trolls to look foolish.

Good example. Most people there predict ~ 400-600K WW first week. No matter how you see it, this is roughly where it will end.

Some people also predict in the 500-800K range.

Then there's the people who don't predict 400-800K. They generally predict 1.3-1.5M. But there's only around 5 of those people in that thread, and surprise, surprise! Only 1 of them has more than 50 posts. For the other people, this may be their first prediction, or they are an alt account.

So the point is - almost all VGChartz regulars, and rational people, predicted 400-800K. A very few irrational VGChartz users predicted 1.2M +. Some people with 50 posts or less predicted 1.5M and such, but really, they are either trying to provoke a reaction, or they simply have no clue yet.
