The game is new, and that means newbies galore. Just a few quick tips to help people get their heads out of their asses quicker, and stop drawing the ire of everyone else on your team.
Soldiers: What is the difference between your shield and your dick? Jesus wants you to share your shield with as many people as possible. Throwing down your shield whenever there is oncoming fire is a must as long as you have ammo for it. And when you do, keep in mind that the shield protects more than you. So do not act like you are playing Unreal Tourney and zig zag, hop around, circle strafe and otherwise make it impossible for other people to get behind you. Unless you will die if you don't move, pick a good spot and stay put. People can't hide behind you if you're acting like a bee on LSD.
Spec Ops: I'm not sure if you guys are aware of this, but shields require ammo too. If a there are 101 bullets flying at you and you're wondering why that damn soldier won't use his shield it's because he doesn't have ammo for it. I played a 3 person co-op 1 of each class, and that damn spec ops refused to give me any frikkin ammo. Don't worry about the medics, they refill their own ammo for the most part by absorbing energy from enemies. Follow soldiers around and feed them ammo. You can work out a nice symbiotic relationship where you keep him invicible with shield ammo, and in turn he gives you a safe sniping spot. Don't just hide behind a dumpster, throw out ammo constantly.
Medics: You are not aggro, you are not tanks, you are for healing the aggro and tanks. We know you can survive for a long time by absorbing health from enemies, but you're not doing jack damage compared to what living soldiers and spec ops can do. So DO NOT run out in front of the soldiers and spec ops, thereby blocking their bullets with your body. Just hang back, refill your gun when necessary and heal heal heal, and then revive. You can get almost 200 experience points healing one injured person if they are hurt fairly badly, 100 experience for reviving some one. You get around 2-4 experience points a second from hitting enemies with your pheonix gun (at least on lower levels). So just hang back heal and revive, and attack when everything is cool. Nobody is asking you to bear the brunt of the battles, and you suck at it anyway.
If people would just stick to these rules, battles can go much much much better. Happy hunting.
