Infamous will be released on the ps3 spring of next year. I have seen a couple of videos and my expectations is that it will probably sell 250k first week sales worldwide.

What do you guys expect from this game?

I read somewhere that inFamous would get a big ad campaign, so if that's true we could see a big opening week. I'm gonna go with 400-500K

Considering it is going to be a huge game and will most likely get a pretty big ad campaign, I predict around 500k or so in its first week.

I'm loving this. Now that third parties have all gone multiplat, Sony is finally stepping up and giving their first and second parties the marketing they deserve. This will probably be Sucker Punch's first title since the original Sly Cooper to break a million.

Total sales depend on the final quality of the game, but I could see it breaking 2 million in the end.

Btw, Uncharted should finally break 2 million before the end of the year! :D

If only they'd drop the price from $60 to $30 in NA...

I'm really not too sure about this game. I was really excited when it was first announced, but the gameplay I saw didn't look to polished. I'm still excited about it because Sly Cooper was a ton of fun. My guess will be 280k week one.

Well, Sly Cooper never really did that well, but I think Infamous can do better.
I say 200k first week, and optimistic 1.5 million LTD.

The problem is tahta prototype could take the novelty taste from this title, since ít has a similar special abilities aproach.

Assuming it comes out first, and assuming it's actually any good.

Personaly, I think InFamous will hit shelves first, and it will take undercut the ps3 version of Prototype's sales.
