You are correct. I noticed this when buying gears 2 today... That music kuran screw up I think really hurt the launch sales for this game.

Yeah, it's been hit or miss where I've looked as well. I was able to rent it from Blockbuster though.

Hmm also since the game was officially released on Oct. 28 where are the sales numbers? The week 0 sales numbers were up pretty quickly.

They have no LBP stand, no sticker with the price and nothing next to it that would hint at a sold out, just nothing.............

Either retails ignored the recall or now they are not carrying the game at all.....

It happened with a Walmart by us. They were selling the recalled version for a weekend, then pulled them and haven't put anything else out yet.

We had the same problem in the Pacific Northwest. I had to go to 5 different stores to buy mine on the second lauch day and I noticed that stores that didn't have it looked like they had never had it.

I found it at a Best Buy
