Yahoo and Take2 management were too greedy and they are going to pay a heavy price for it.

That's like GM trying to buy Chrysler.

We loose a tonn of money, they loose a tonn of money, lets combine so we can loose even more money !!!!!!!!!

they would be able to reduce costs because they could lay off a lot of unnecessary employees

Stupid Yahoo.

You rejected a pretty decent offer from MS, only to come groveling back.

If I was Microsoft, I'd offer a takeover at $15/share or less - Half the original bid. Just to show them how retarded they are.

I think Microsoft is gonna make them beg then buy them for about $12 a share. It makes it worse they tried to make a deal with Google mainly to spite Microsoft.

Love the product, not the company. They love your money, not you.

I seriously doubt Yahoo executivies will beg Microsoft for anything. There in a better position with their search technology than Microsoft is with theres. Also, Yahoo may go back and restructure a deal with Google. Who knows, a third party might make them a more attractive offer.

If Nintendo is successful at the moment, it’s because they are good, and I cannot blame them for that. What we should do is try to be just as good.----Laurent Benadiba

You guys should do a little background research about what was really going on here, things are not as they seem. Patents relating to adsense, and (illegal) under the table dealings with google were involved here. Microsoft never had any intention of aquiring yahoo.

Microsoft now has a successful console business to console them for their inability to aquire Yahoo. It seems much more productive at this point focusing on their Surface, Xbox and Silverlight/web apps businesses.
