Robin hood is average compared to snow white and beauty and the beast, but the rest are classics.

And I think this is the reason why people aren't running to Blu-Ray.

You see all those Disney commercials for the Limited Purchase of Disney movies called the "Disney Vault"

They bring out movies saying they are on sale on DvD for a limited time and will go back into the Disney Vault, never to be seen again, then people rush out to get it, thinking it's their last chance to own it, then months later they come out and say the Disney Vault is open again...

This is the same pet-peeve I have for "Special and/or Limited Edition and/or Enhanced Edition". You know that DvD you buy on day one, then a few months later they have a newer version that has bonus features just to sell more copies.

Crap like this I would have thought would go away with DvD, but it looks like Blu-Ray is accepting this lame way to sell.

Boo I say  Boooooooooooo.

do you an HDTV? my VHS version of Robin Hood is crazy blurry on my HDTV. Not blurry enough to make me get the BD version, but blurry nonetheless.

Movies are shot using film (and meant to be projected onto huge screens.) They were never shot to fit on a DVD or VHS. They had to be downsampled to fit.

I have some or most of my favorites on DVD but if there was a big noticeable difference, I might think about replacing a few of them possibly. Those being Lion King, Toy Story 1&2 and perhaps Monster Inc.
