This just before the holidays may be the best thing sony has done this year..

Depending on what exactly the demo contains is what will really spring sales up for the actual game.

For those of you that have and played MGS4, its likely you know what im talking about. Depending on what exactly the demo has. MGS4 is the best game I have played in my life, and that may go to many more gamers as well.. I believe that this free demo will show people what they are missing, and may boost sales for the holidays.

The question is again, what does the demo have? And I will be sure to find that out.

MGS4 is a good game but extremely overhyped, as it seems to be every game of this generation. The demo should generate a couple thousand more sales but unless all the best bits of the game have been put into the demo which they probably have done it will not cause a huge influx in sales.

Killzone 2, now that is a great game. :)

since we are in the hoiday season and black friday is upon us I can say any demo will help any game

Have you played MGS4? If anything it doesnt have enough hype..

Well if it's the demo from the beginning of the game, it would not be fun.

I mean most demos last 10-15 min, and the beginning of MGS4 (before you even touch the controller) is like 20-24min of movie.

Would be a huge demo, and lack of gameplay.

No actually its much less than that, the first cutscene is around 4 mins, while the following one is 5 mins, the rest is gameplay until ofcourse you meet with the little robot.

yeah i was gonna comment then i said no, something that's overhyped was halo3, i mean it was basically halo2 nothing really changed, but mgs4 is just epic should've got a 20/10

Joke post? Pretty sad when people think so highly of an interactive movie, worst £35 I ever spent on gaming. Thankfully I have a rental subscription now and will never make the mistake of buying such games.

Why mention Halo 3, just could not keep a thread fanboy free right?
