But it didn't outsell the PS2 version. It made Greatest Hits in America which means that it shipped 400k in North America ALONE!

Hardly. Greatest Hits has gone from being 400k to being whatever games Sony thinks are worth putting the title on. This game certainly didn't reach that mark. Neither did Disgaea, or many of the most recent Greatest Hits titles.

Really? Got anything to back up that claim?

This is a sales site. You should be able to verify that yourself. Also look up Odin Sphere, which was also put on the list.

Okami doesn't have any American data, so how can he verify it?

Dead Rising will be a massive flop, not even 200k.

I don't think it will flop.

A lot of 360 owners that own the wii will buy it...just so they can set it up next to the 360 version side by side and laugh at it with their friends.

One the port was done half-baked according to some developer who left Capcom. (I honestly don't care.) That's large enough an insult considering this man worked for Capcom.

Next I bought the game and played it, the game felt and looked like a Zelda:OoT with a canine protagonist.

Hell even the menu was similar to OoT's construct; this game was a Zelda plain and simple and it didn't even feel like it wanted to be it's own thing, the man who made it should sent his resume to Nintendo not Capcom and had Shigeru teach him some humility while they made the next Zelda with Link as a dog... nvm been there done that. imo.

I'm Unamerica and you can too.

They need to release Okami on the Wii in Japan. I want to buy the game, but my JP Wii will only play JP Wii games and I don't want to buy the PS2 version.

Yes, and VGC has been wrong more than once. Look, I don't expect our data to be perfect at all, and I know ioi has trouble tracking the legs of these smaller niche titles.

More proof that 3rd party games DO SELL. I just hope Dead Rising sell more than they expected like RE: UC to show the proof that Wii owners buy core games same as they buying casual games.

Yeah, too bad most of the hardcore crowd seems to havealready dismissed the Wii Dead Rising because it "doesn't look as good as the Xbox 360 version" and the lame camera missions were removed.

He originally was talking about Okami.  Then you brought up Disgaea which doesn't have American data either.

He asks you to back up the claim, and you said he should be able to do it himself. So pretty much you avoided his inquiry.  My point is valid whether you decided to throw in Odin Sphere after the fact or not.

That was noname2200, who did the first coupld things. I brought up Odin Sphere because it did have data. Try paying attention to who makes what comments.
