Then why would these developers and publishers lie to gamers?  Or maybe when someone in the industry who supports both platforms has something positive to say about the PS3, your insecurity bleeds through.  Here, have a band-aid.  In fact, "Xbox 360" is printed on it.  Don't you feel proud?

So they can make a profit,If they hail the PS3 as the best console this gen then they get wild fanboys to believe them and spend more money on that system,we know that PS3 will catch up to 360 eventually,we do NOT Need countless threads telling us this.

@ CGI-Quality You are one of the few people that are happy with your product,i wish to get a PS3 soon and i dont need Sony or any article to tell me how good it is,We both know how good it is.

up until now, PS3 sales were bigger than 360 worldwide this year, hence, unless PS3 goes down the drain faster than whatever, it'll have more sales than 360 this year, thus better growth.

Though, I HIGHLY doubt this is the year of the PS3... Aside MGS4, there isn't a multimillion selling game on the PS3 exclusively yet. (R2 is their last chance this year)

What?????????????????  Do you really believe what you are saying???  If something isn't profitable for me, I'd stop investing in it.  Heep hyping yourself up, bub.  And this isn't a SONY article, this is more specificly an Activision/Blizzard prediction of a SONY console article.  That's all it is a prediction, and no one is making you think how good the PS3 is.  But apparently you're pretty irrate over this positive PS3 prediction for no substanance reasons which proves my original point.  Good luck with ya.

And once people start to find out its not what its hyped up to be they start doubting and these threads are made.

It doesn't matter because just because you said it doesn't mean it's true.  I "ignored" it because I didn't see it as you did.  We all can look at this situation in a number of ways, and I don't expect everyone to agree with me.  But the most conventional wisdom is for Activision/Blizzard to not lie or intentially mislead anyone especially since this report was in reagrds to their third quarter earnings which needs to appeal to the stockholders first.  You don't say one thing to the stockholders, and then say something different to the rest of the public.  So I highly doubt this was a marketing tactic to please PS3 fans, maybe partially but nowhere near its primary reason.
