honestly what's the purpose of this thread how can the OP or anyone say its flopped based off of vgchartz thread posts...LBP had so many because lets face it.. a lot people want that game to succeed as much as people want it to flop... so people made a lot of threads about it...I have both gears of war 2 and R2 but haven't really seen many threads on either so I guess they both flopped

Well a few things can be killing the games hype, 1. is the U.S election results, 2. people are too caught up enjoying the game that they dont have time to comment on it (good games tend to do that), and finaly. LBP ;P

No, it's certainly not a flop. However, the review battle, metacritic, the election, and Gears 2 has killed SOME of the hype around here, I've noticed.

It is being discussed, just more in the vein of "reviewers are fanboys" instead of "best game ever."
